Over the past few months, our farm has hosted several weekend retreats that brought together families, children, and individual travellers looking for a break from the city. These retreats were designed to give people a taste of farm life, a connection with nature, and time to slow down.
Guests stayed on the farm and enjoyed freshly cooked organic food made with produce grown right here. Mornings began with a refreshing sunrise hike to nearby hills, while evenings ended with a peaceful sunset trek surrounded by the sounds of nature. Nature walks during the day gave everyone a chance to learn about local plants, trees, and farming practices.
One of the most enjoyed activities was our mud bath—fun for both kids and adults—followed by a swim in the cool, clean water of our open well. These simple experiences brought a lot of laughter and left everyone feeling refreshed.
For those curious about farming, we spent time answering their questions and showing them how we grow food organically. The weekends ended with happy faces, new friendships, and a stronger appreciation for the land.
These retreats have been a reminder that nature, good food, and simple living are needed for everyone.
